The Science of Absolute Focus


Tratak is a traditional meditation practice from the yogic tradition involving sustained, gentle focus of the gaze on a single point. Practised for generations, Tratak is known to encourage mindfulness, concentration, and self-awareness.

During this registered Guinness World Records™ attempt, participants will follow a 2-minute guided Tratak session. All you need is a smartphone, an Instagram account, and a willingness to be still.

Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar (Grand Master Akshar) is an internationally recognised yoga teacher, author, and Guinness World Records™ title holder. Under his guidance, Akshar Yoga Kendraa has set 21 Guinness World Records™ across multiple International Yoga Day events.

His work has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, and The Times of India, and he has delivered TEDx talks on the integration of yoga and mindful living. Grand Master Akshar draws from traditional Himalayan teachings to guide practitioners toward focus, resilience, and self-awareness.
